Fossil Rim Wildlife Center is located 55 miles southwest of Fort Worth and 75 miles southwest of Dallas, near Glen Rose. The GPS address is 2299 County Road 2008, Glen Rose, Texas, 76043.                                                          

From Ft. Worth and the mid cities area:   
                                       
     1. From I-20 and I-35
     2. Go south on I-35W 19 miles to Alvarado
     3. At exit 26A, take Ramp (Right) onto I-35W service road
     4. Bear Right (West) onto US-67 for 40.5 miles
        a) Continue on US-67 through Glen Rose ~3.8 miles
     5. Turn LEFT (South) onto County Road 2008 1.3 miles

1. In South Waco Exit off of I-35 on Loop 340 
2. Take SR-340 Loop [SR-6] towards TX-6 / TX-340-Loop / Meridian 10.7 miles

3. As you approach Meridian
4. Bear RIGHT (North-East) onto SR-22 [W Morgan St] 0.8 mile
5. Turn LEFT (North) onto SR-144 [N Main St] 23.7 miles
6. You will be at the Glen Rose Square
7. Turn LEFT (South) onto FM-56 [Barnard St] 0.1 mile

Travelers Notes

• Rain or Shine, Fossil Rim is the place to be. Come and explore nature at its finest any season of the year.
• The animals don’t care what the weather is doing. They’re always out and about. In fact, the rhinos love to slosh around in the mud when it is raining.
• Animal food is $7.95 per bag and we limit it to one per vehicle for animal health reasons.
• Halfway through the drive is a café, picnic area, gift store, children’s zoo and walking trail.
• Guided tours must be reserved in advance/no reservations needed to drive through in your own vehicle.  Call 254-898-4200.

Allow approximately 2-3 hours for a visit.
