Adam
Eyres is known as the “rhino wrangler” at Fossil Rim.
He started working at the center in 1989 and currently is responsible
for the care and management of both the white rhino and black rhino
herds at Fossil Rim and is involved a number of rhino conservation
programs. Adam created the successful weekend mountain bike program “Ride
the Rim” at Fossil Rim in 1994, and continues to direct the
program. As a lifelong outdoor enthusiasts Adam spends his “free
time” organizing and guiding kayak and biking tours for his
own business, Rhino Ridge Outfitters, Inc. (www.rhinoridge.com) Adam
resides in Glen Rose and serves as a volunteer with the Somervell
County Fire Department.
