Roll
the meat in flour. Heat the oil and margarine and fry the meat
and onions in it. Pour 1 1/3 c of boiling
water over the meat and stir in the raisins and coconut. Mix all
the spices well and stir well. Add the lemon juice and chutney.
Add 1/3
c boiling water to the spices and stir well before stirring into
the meat. Simmer for about 1 1⁄2 hours over low heat or until
meat is very tender. Serve with rice, chutney and finely chopped
onions,
tomatoes.
(Optional - bananas,
shredded coconut and chopped hard boiled eggs.)
