March 26 – Vermiculture Event (open event – date is tentative, times to be determined)

April 9th, Monday: Homeschool Event - Nature Journaling (open event)

This event will combine a nature journaling class, an art class, a picnic lunch, and a tour of Fossil Rim. Details to be announced at a later date.

April 23rd, Monday: Homeschool Event - How to Catch a Rhino or other Wild Creature Class + Tour (open event)

Chemical capture is one important way that wild animals are caught if they need medical attention. Everyone will get a chance to use a blow-dart to “tranquilize” an animal target. After the morning class, we will have a picnic lunch, then a guided tour of Fossil Rim.

When: 10:00-2:30ish pm
Where: park at the Overlook; class will be in the Activities Barn at Wolf Ridge Camp
