June 10th, Sunday: Awesome Ocelots This small cat once ranged throughout South, Central, and East Texas. Today, only 100 ocelots can be found in our state. JUNE 23rd, Saturday: Members Only Event SOLD OUT Due to overwhelming demand, this event is now sold out. However, by becoming a Fossil Rim member, you’ll be the first to know about future events like this, as well as the many other benefits that come with membership. What’s more, you’ll get to have fun while taking an active role in animal conservation efforts! Free Members Only Event Tour to the first 120 members who email a reservation request to membership@fossilrim.org. The event times will be at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday June 23, 2007. We will meet at the Overlook Café parking lot. Fossil Rim’s Animal Care Director, Kelly Snodgrass, will give some history of Fossil Rim and information on our world renowned conservation work. **Tour guides will then take you to the Giraffe barn where you will spend time visiting with them and their caretaker Cassie! You will then return to the Overlook area where Members will receive an additional 10% off any purchases made at the Nature Store. Wow! That’s 20% for the day! |
