Congratulations to Billie Rieger

This year we decided to become members at Fossil Rim. I love all the animals but the giraffes are my favorite. Our most recent visit was on September 16, 2006 and we are planning to visit again on October 21st. We were the 1st visitors to arrive at the park on Sept. 16th and the giraffes were glad to see us. I don’t know how long we were in the giraffe habitat but we were able to feed them and take pictures.

Our encounter with the baby giraffe is one we will always remember. We enjoyed watching the zebras and their baby zebras. The cheetahs are beautiful. They look very healthy and a few were playing ball. We also saw the turkeys and a jackrabbit. I have so many Fossil Rim pictures from the past 8 years but I just can’t resist taking pictures of all these amazing creatures. We have visited other animal parks in our travels but Fossil Rim is by far the best.
