January

January 15 – Robin Hood Day Camp (open event)

9:00- 3:30ish Classes and Activities centered around a Robin Hood theme in the morning, picnic lunch, then guided tour of Fossil Rim.

January 29 – Cheetah Class + Tour (open event)

10:00-2:30ish. Have you ever wondered what makes a cheetah so fast? Then come join us for a Cheetah Class + Tour Event. The fun activities will include a craft, a game, a picnic lunch at the Overlook, and a tour of Fossil Rim Wildlife Center.

February

February 12 – Arthropod Class + Tour (open event)

10:00-2:30ish. Learn about insects, spiders, and other arthropods, with a special focus on Texas natives. Picnic lunch at the overlook at 12:00, followed by a guided tour of Fossil Rim.

March 5 – Discovery Table Class + Tour (open event)

10:00-2:30ish. Horns or antlers? What’s the difference? Discover this and other fascinating Fossil Rim facts at our Discovery Table presentation in the morning, share a picnic lunch, then take a guided tour of Fossil Rim.
