This will be a fun family evening to enjoy a cookout, your children
and our animals before the summer ends. We are sold out for this
year’s fun.
• There
are still Ride-the-Rim
adventures for you to join. If you haven’t
taken advantage of our bike trails you need to sign up. You will
find a fun, challenging ride that
ultimately takes you
past rhinos, cheetahs and wolves.
• Discovery
After Dark will be held on August 11th. This is a great
chance to learn about animals
after hours and see our
drive
through
in a different light (literally). Learn how animals use various
senses to get along in the dark. Make your own single constellation
finder
and learn a Native American myth about stars.
• Encounter
Zebra will be Sunday afternoon August 13th at 2:00. You
will not only get to join an education specialist
to
learn
more about these delightful creatures but you will also
get the chance
to go meet them up close and personal. Find out more
interesting facts about these bold creatures.
