The message of connection and ultimately the responsibility for nature’s wellbeing must be delivered to as many people as feasibly possible while maintaining an interactive and memorable experience for the participants.

With such an expansive vision in place, the Education Department is growing and evolving to meet the challenge. New opportunities for School Groups, Teachers, Homeschoolers, Preschoolers, Scouts, Families, Businesses, Organizations, Online Learners, and Vacationers are being developed. In addition, revitalization of the educational aspects of the Children’s Animal Center, Camps, Trails, and associated facilities is taking shape.

Education should be a memorable experience. To help build the visual memories, a new look is coming to our department including safari shirts and a more rustic look for the tour vehicles. Even the new open-air school buses will have a safari façade. The zebra jeep will ultimately be joined by a cheetah jeep to multiply the fun.

Themed camps, Chuck wagon dinners, Home School programs, Family reunions, Education web pages, and so much more is on the way. Come share in the excitement as we have much to celebrate.
