Groups
These tours are designed for school, youth and senior special groups (differs from a private Family Tour). We will put your group on one or more of our tour vehicles and give you a guided tour through our Scenic Wildlife Drive providing for you a chance to ask all the questions you like and making sure you won’t miss a thing. Groups must have a minimum of 10 people and maximum of 104 people. (Reservations are required at least three days in advance, please call 254.897.2960).

Private Step-On Tour
Have a group of people and your own bus and driver? We can offer a guide to hop onto your group’s vehicle and provide you with all the information you were looking for about Fossil Rim and its animals. This tour will take you on our Scenic Wildlife Drive and lasts around 2-3 hours depending on traffic and time spent at our halfway point. (Food for the animals is not included in the price and reservations are required at least three days in advance, please call 254.897.2960).

Booking Information
- For information, availability and/or to make reservations please call 254.897.2960.
- Guided tours should be booked at least 3 days in advance, preferably 4-6 days in advance. Shorter notice bookings may not be available.
- Must cancel at least 24 hours in advance to avoid penalty.
- Credit Card is required to make reservation at time of booking. We accept (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Debit cards). Payment is due 24 hours before reservation.
- Cost of tour includes admission to the park.
- Inclement Weather Policy: Tours will proceed as scheduled. Should Fossil Rim Wildlife Center need to cancel for safety or other reasons, a full refund will be given.
General Group Tour Information
- Be Prepared: Be sure to dress for the weather. You may bring hats, sunscreen, and water if you wish.
- Please do not bring pets, additional guests (no prior reservation), weapons, alcohol, tobacco, firearms, illegal drugs, radios, fireworks or food (only animal food is allowed on the tour vehicles).
- There are no restrooms on our tour vehicles. Restrooms are located at the main gate and overlook
- Guests meet at the front gate and will need to be there 15 minutes prior to tour time so that bathroom breaks and payment (if necessary) can be finished before tour time.
- School Groups only: 1 free teacher/chaperone for every 12 children.
- Tour includes only the Scenic Drive.
