Can You Help?
Every child that comes to camp at Wolf Ridge learns that they can make a difference for wildlife. Unfortunately not every child that dreams of camp and all the wonderful activities involved will ever have that opportunity. You can make a difference for wildlife and grant a child's wish at the same time. Please provide a scholarship for a low-income child and make their dream come true by clicking on the link at left.

Day, Overnight and Badge Camps
Day Camps
offer exciting short-term outings for schools, scouts and other groups, and can help meet many TEKS and badge requirements. Day Camps are from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm and include a guided tour of the park, a nature hike and two camp
programs from our selection. Trained camp guides will help your group identify endangered species, recognize some of the native animals of Texas and lead you through your choice of games, crafts or other activities. You may bring your own lunch or we can pre-order reasonably priced sack lunches from our lodging facilities (they include a yummy sandwich, fruit, drink and a cookie).
At Day and Overnight Camps, one adult attends free with every 12 students. (Does not apply to Summer Camps).
Click here for pricing information. Reservations required.
Overnight Camps are our most popular, as schools, scouts and other groups take great delight in extending their stay to include after dinner activities around a campfire with the night sounds of Fossil Rim. Overnight Camps begin at 10:00 am and end at 9:00 am the next day. You can enjoy astronomy, Native American lore or a night hike. Wolf Ridge camp offers two types of accommodations: Rustic, screened-in, wood-framed bunk houses or more modern units with air-conditioning and heating. Restroom and shower facilities are near both types of bunkhouses. Participants bring their own sleeping bags and pillows, as well as their own S’mores fixings.
Badge Camps
offer a unique way to earn scout badges. Wolf Ridge Nature Camps are the perfect way to go! See the
Scouting Page for more information. Reservations required.
All camps include a guided tour of the park and a nature hike, but the Overnight Camp offers three camp
programs, the last of which is your choice of our specially designed night programs. Dinner and breakfast will be provided by our cafe or nearby restaurant. You may bring your own lunch or we can pre-order reasonably priced sack lunches from our lodging facilities (they include yummy sandwiches, fruit, drinks and a snack).
Pricing includes dinner, breakfast and three programs.
