Find out if you will be lucky enough to experience the 18" long tongue of a giraffe as it searches your vehicle for food. Explore our Intensive Management Area where you can get an up-close view of three species of wolves, cheetahs, black rhinos and Attwater's Prairie Chickens. This area is off-limit to drive-through visitors and is exclusive to guided tours such as this one. You will learn about our research and conservation efforts. Enjoy yourself and get a feeling of what we are doing to help stave off extinction for our endangered species on property. We include everything on the family tour in addition to the Intensive Management Area. This tour is designed for adults as the length and delivery style make it un-suitable for young children.

Recommended for ages seven and up – reservations are required at least three days in advance.

Length: two and a half to three and a half hours (varies with traffic, weather and/or animals in the roadway)

Transportation: Based on the number of tour guests, the open-air tour vehicle might be a jeep, van or safari bus.

Departs daily year-round*: 10 am and 2 pm
*Except July and August: 10 am only
